Hallway Tent
The artwork pictured is by students from Daniel Hale Williams Preparatory School working in a Chicago Arts Partnerships in Education project facilitated by Art and Design Teacher Phil Cotton and CAPE teaching artist Margy Stover (2016).
"Briana's installation thinks about how space can evoke or generate feelings. Overton was a place for both middle school students, and for very young children. A tent is also a space of childhood, a space where children feel safe, and that they feel is their space."
