Community Day with Mobilize Creative Collaborative (August)
On August 28, DJ Cqqchifruit energized our Community Day with amazing tunes. Many volunteers came to paint the Basketball (Art) Court, to be revealed on our next Community Day on September 18. The afternoon was filled with community exchange, and pop-up workshops by all these community-led efforts, projects and/or organizations:

Mobilize Creative Collaborative brought a team of artists to activate with making, constructing, writing and performing.
Artist & educator William Estrada brought his Mobile Street Art Cart to engage with screen-printing tote bag so everyone could have their customized Overton bag.
Earlier that Saturday, Just Action Collaborative hosted their first community of practice workshop.
