Testing, testing > Closed Schools Interactive Design Installation at Jane Addams Hull House

In collaboration with Sara Pooley, this design installation will be featured as part of Jane Addams Hull House's exhibition Claiming Space: Creative Grounds and Freedom School. Another iteration of closed school sites index that tracks the status of repurposing, and focuses on Chicago West Side geography. One of the insights of this iteration is that 18 out of 43 closed schools (+40%) are in the West Side.

This exhibition will open on September 19, and will be followed by public discussion Who Fights for our Schools?
