This week teens from the Chicago Architecture Foundation's Neighborhood Teen Ambassadors program visited former Overton School. As part of this program, Teens are spending a week (July 16-20) embedded in the neighborhood and working in collaboration with Urban Juncture – bootcamp style – researching and learning about Bronzeville. Teens will be participating with a design project for one of the classrooms as part of 8x3: Art + Architecture this summer, and will also be preparing to be on-site ambassadors for Overton during the annual Open House Chicago in October.
